How do I pay for an Apartment

Here is an example of a typical payments plan:

1. £1000 non-refundable holding deposit prior to signing contract
2. 20% - Deposit within 14 days of the contract being signed
3. 20% - Payable on completion of the concrete structure
4. 20% - Payable on completion of blockwork & rendering
5. 20% - Payable on completion of the windows and floors
6. 15% - Payable on completion of the kitchen, bathrooms and wardrobes
7. 5% - Payable on handover

Will there be Maintenance costs once the site is completed?

A separate maintenance contract will be signed by the purchasers prior to taking possession of the property. This is a compulsory requirement of purchase and is covered in the sales contract. A monthly fee of £60 is payable which covers the running costs of the site. This will include the landscaping, watering system, swimming pool maintenance, road & site management of all communal areas.
